Accessibility Statement

In-Right is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone, applying the relevant accessibility standards to optimize web consumption interfaces across all device formats.

Our ongoing development workflows strive to make our curation sheets, digital product breakdowns, and text elements accessible to users who leverage assistive technology frameworks.

1. Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for individuals with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

In-Right is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA targets. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content may not fully conform to the strictest interpretation of the accessibility standard due to ongoing theme architecture updates or localized content layouts.

2. Technical Specifications

Accessibility of In-Right relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer hardware:

  • HTML5 Semantic Markup: Providing proper context landmarks and document hierarchies for standard screen readers.
  • CSS3 Layout Architectures: Maintaining natural proportional scaling without destroying structural text alignment grids.
  • JavaScript Management Engines: Implemented using asynchronous, defensive validation rules to avoid device navigation lockouts.

These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards utilized across our system ecosystem.

3. Accessible Layout Configurations

To help maintain clean interaction pathways, our platform incorporates several core design system choices:

  • Contrast Optimization: Text strings maintain definitive luminance contrast ratios against workspace backgrounds, supporting users with visual impairments.
  • Font Scaling Support: Global layout containers use flexible sizing parameters so that changing native browser layout scaling settings does not break text visibility.
  • Keyboard Responsive Elements: Interactive navigational components are engineered to receive programmatic focus layers during standard tab movements.

4. Reporting Barriers & Contact Strategy

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of In-Right. If you encounter accessibility barriers or notice usability defects while browsing any of our curated data drops, please let us know immediately.

You can communicate accessibility issues directly to our engineering desk by filling out our formal communication transmission module located on our Contact Us page. We aim to review technical layout complaints and initiate corrective code remediation pipelines within 5 business days.

5. The accessibility panel

The round button in the bottom corner of every page (or Alt + Shift + A, or "Accessibility options" in the footer) opens display and reading options. Your choices are saved in your browser, and follow you to other devices when you're signed in.

Profiles
One-tap presets for low vision, dyslexia, focus (ADHD), seizure and motion safety, keyboard and motor needs, and easy reading. They only switch on the options listed below, and you can combine or fine-tune them.
Text
Text size up to 200%, the Atkinson Hyperlegible Next or OpenDyslexic fonts, letter and word spacing (the widest setting uses the WCAG 1.4.12 values), line height, heavier text and left-aligned paragraphs.
Colour and contrast
High-contrast dark and light modes, inverted colours, a saturation slider from greyscale to vivid, and colour boost filters for red-green and blue-yellow colour blindness.
Reading aids
A reading guide and reading mask that follow your pointer or keyboard focus, a text magnifier, image descriptions, highlighted links and headings, a strong focus ring, a large cursor and a text-only mode.
Motion and sound
Follows your device's reduced-motion setting by default, or stops all animation, videos and moving images, and can mute all sound.
Read aloud
Reads the page sentence by sentence with your device's own voices, highlighting each sentence. "Click to read" starts from any paragraph you click. Nothing is recorded or sent anywhere.
Navigate
A page-structure view that lists every heading, section and link so you can jump straight to it, and a skip-to-content shortcut.

6. What the panel does not do

  • It doesn't replace accessible design. The site is built to work without it, and we fix problems in the site itself rather than covering them up.
  • It never changes what screen readers announce or how the page is structured, and it doesn't try to detect whether you use assistive technology.
  • Nothing switches on by itself, except that animation follows your device's reduced-motion setting.
  • It doesn't send your settings anywhere, except to your own In-Right account if you're signed in.

Your own tools come first. Browser zoom (Ctrl / ⌘ + +), your operating system's contrast and text settings, and screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack all work on In-Right.

7. Known limitations

  • Merchant sites. When you choose "Shop now" you go to the merchant's website. We don't control its accessibility.
  • Product images. Some images supplied by brands have short descriptions. We're adding fuller ones on review pages first.
  • Embedded videos. Captions on embedded YouTube videos depend on the video's owner.
  • Large text and high contrast. At the largest sizes, or with the high-contrast modes, a few decorative layouts look plainer than usual. The content still reads correctly.
